According to Metacritic, and GameRankings, Super Mario Galaxy is "better" than Super Mario 64, even though, many have written before, that such a feat would not happen, for Super Mario 64 was simply a revolution, and that reviewers today, are more prone to criticise, than back in 1996. The game, is the only game, that could have dethroned Ocarina of Time, and remains, the second greatest video game of all time. Ocarina of Time was almost dethroned once... Can it happen again? Better yet, can a game, in the future, dethrone Ocarina of Time, or Galaxy, or become, a new, near equivilent? Galaxy defeated 64, can a new Zelda game defeat Ocarina?

Now, if Ocarina of Time does get dethroned, or "attacked," what game, in the future, could do so? Would it have to be another Zelda game, or Mario game? Maybe a new Metroid game? What about Metal Gear Solid 4? Would it have to be a first party game? What do you think?

To be honest with you, I think that Ocarina of Time can still be dethroned, but probably only by either another Zelda game, or Mario game. Metal Gear Solid 4, I do not think, will be able to defeat Ocarina, or Galaxy, for I see it getting 94%-95% on GameRankings. I think that more games these days, have been able to pass the 90%+ mark on GameRankings, during a shorter period of time, than ever before, and we've got more of the best games of all time, than ever before. Ocarina of Time may not be polishing its shiny, golden crown, for a long time to come. Galaxy almost beat it, which proves that it's not invincible, so I do think that some day, a game so grand will be released, that it will slap the green hat off Link's head. What do you think?
