I'm still waiting until E3, but assuming this is true that Nintendo at least has dev kits to third parties (no matter when Nintendo releases the system), third parties can still blow it the way they blew cashing in on the Wii. Think that can't happen, then you don't get WHY Nintendo games sell best on their systems.

First of all, no bullshit tests (and especially not making another test when the last one passes). Flood the system with games as you did the other systems, or Nintendo gamers will think the third parties are giving the same scraps again, and reject them as they did the scraps on the Wii (remember many were saying, and then doing by the sales, that they wouldn't buy Extraction or Darkside Chronicles, because they knew they were bones being thrown in lieu of the main course).

Second of all, either sell ports at a low price with no new content (RE4, Mario Power Tennis, Pikmin), new content with full price (RE4 on the PS2), or GTFO. You want to make people buy older games, make it worth their while.

Third of all, don't use the system solely as a third buffer for game expenses. Nintendo gamers got so jaded by lack of third party respect, they will smell it again if that is all third parties care about here.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
