my favorite this gen is dead space 2. And new franchise is dead space.
Oddly enough inspired by resident evil and silent hill which are japanese game.
Demon Soul's as well. And that has a lot of wester tendency's.
I do like bioware/Square Enix games about equally (not all, but in general)...
So I like both. :D... I dislike somethings about both as well.
