I actually enjoyed the first game, it reminded me of playing Wolfenstien, Doom and Unreal - lots of corridors just like I grew up with. Single player mode didn't have much replay value though.
The online was a lot of fun too, when it worked and before it got hacked to death.
Considering this, by all accounts (so far) is better and the online is patchable meaning glitches can be fixed and hacks countered I'll definitely be picking this up. Looking forward to more split-screen goodness!
And I love having a kick system!
Can't wait.
