Most characters in the game are of Final Fantasy's weakest, the story is boring, the music has been far surpassed by later FF's, the battle system blows, and its only saviors are fine style and a tough difficulty.
I want the same treatment for FF VI, it's far better. IV is a 6.5/10.

Really? FFIV is my third best FF ever... great story, great characters, great music... always a 9.5/10 to me.

IMO FFVI >= FFXII > FFIV > FFVIII > FFIX > FFVII > FFV > FFX > FFII > FFI > FFIII.
I just not played FFXIII.

You have brutally underrated FFX, and overrated IV and XII so I'll ignore the whole lineup ;)

I was always asleep playing FFX... too slow... I stopped to play it when I returned to Zanarkand (before the last boss)... so never finish the game.
I like FFX after all... but it not the best... I like VIII, IX and V way more.
And most users and reviewers put FFIV as the second best FF ever.

VIII and V are great, never got the hype around IV though (I have the DS version)... X was quite broken if you knew where to exploit it (I did) and as such, you could get through it quite fast.
VIII, though, is my third favorite. X > VI > VIII > everything else
