I own a Wii alongside one of the so called 'better consoles' (PS3) and my Wii get roughly 8-10x more usage. I own more games for my Wii, have more games that I'm planning to get for it and I prefer it's line up to that of my PS3. I bought my PS3 not because I was done/tired/finished with the library of the Wii, but because their were several games that I didn't want to miss that weren't on Wii (FFXIII, RE5, LBP, SFIV, etc). So I have no idea what you are on about because it is completely subjective and therefore one cannot make blanket statements like you did.
