I dont understand this either. i think that all those manufacturers are focusing on sterostopic 3D, where the same image has to be rendered twice.
its possible that theres another way of doing 3D, but i dont know anything about it. however what the hell a tiny screen on your handset has to do with making your monitor display 3D is beyond me.
sounds totally fake imo.
