To your edit (since it basically contradicts the first part of the post), I don't think I have all the answers nor is it about a psychoanalysis of you. I simply saw your error and discussed it with you reasonably (just advising not to judge the situation without all the pieces).

Frankly, I didn't think it would bug you to this degree.

I deleted my post, but since you're going on, there's a difference between having a discussion and rubbing someone's nose in it. I don't know what to say to you if you think a post like "Your continuous hostility to a small error only shows that you have a hard time with discussions that don't go your way." either will provoke a positive response or not make you sound like you have an incredibly holier than thou attitude.
