I've had my PS3 for less than a year and I just bought Heavy Rain, Assassin's Creed 2, Dante's Inferno and Infamous the other day. Each game cost only around $20. There's so many good games you can get for dirt cheap.
Plus the PS4 ain't coming until late 2014 anyway. Xbox 3 possibly in late 2013, but even that is over 2 and ½ years from now.
