I checked Gamespot, Dtoid, and IGN. No such enthusiasm.

In fairness, this seems to be one of the strongest indications of any successor thus far, so the enthusiasm is understandable. Not only that, but why even compare our community with some of those "other" places?

How is reaction from people not part of Nintendo an indication? That just makes this board an outlier, not "understandable".

Plus "fair" is thrown around too much in discussions these days. That line was supposed to be about mitigating some amount of criticism, not as a prefix to any counterpoint one gives.
