I always dream of that.

We had fire emblem with online multiplayer in Fire Emblem 11, and it wasn't very good, A because of hacking and B because its hyper-competitive with people who RNG-abuse their characters. Plus the core appeal of Fire Emblem is meant to be that of lopsided battles, where a smaller, more powerful group of people hack down a larger horde of foes.
