You can delete quotes in the quote tree. Just click the border of the one(s) you want deleted then they should be hilighted in blue. After that just push backspace. ^^ Edit: and sometimes having multiple posts in a quote is helpful. Especially when you want to refer to an ealier post in the chain |
I know, but most people don't bother. It just leads to threads where you spend more time scrolling past quotes than actually reading replies. Must be even worse for people who actually have signatures turned on. Actually, that's another thing. Granted I only see them when I'm not logged in, but it seems like the mods don't bother enforcing signature length anymore.
If they are referencing something in a previous post, they could quote that, and not the other ten posts that are unrelated.
