PS3 is generating 40 million in revenue in Hardware sales every week, i doubt SONY or the retailers care because thats some doe in only 1 week, in the middle of april.

Yes, but higher hardware sales means higher software and peripheral sales, and that's where most money comes from, right? Anyway, we'll see. Sony, MS and Ninty will do whatever is more convenient for them. I personally think they'll all cut the price of their consoles this fall.
