It was more to the point that we never gloated about graphics as being of such importance that we didn't nitpick the alpha blending of nose hairs on a character model, or the Z depth of volumetric fog, or translucent properties of human skin normal mapped textures. Good art and good gameplay were of more importance. And the simple fact is that Nintendo would actually have to try very hard to build a console that didn't have more graphical horsepower than the current HD consoles given the avaiable products on the market from the major vendors are all already above even the PS3. |
Yes I agree, Its not hard for Nintendo to top 6 year old technology. I never hided behind by hand, I like seen mind blowing graphics and real life physics and I always believed they are as important as gameplay.
Tell me you dont see the hypocrisy in this thread
