I liked the DS design... In 1998, mainly because I didn't know any better. Since then, console controllers have gone a long way and ergonomically, the 360 controller is vastly superior. Staggered analogs, better triggers, and a more comfortable grip.

That's merely your opinion.

In my opinion the DS is the best console controller thus far made. It's perfect for all game types, racing, sport, and shooting games. It has a great balance. When you play using a similar controller since the PS1 days the DS begins to feel like an extension of your arm.

The 360 controller is good, although I prefer the old xbox one (and headset). The triggers are great for shooters, but I'm not too fond of using them outside that genre.

The new xbox elite ones are even lighter then the launch ones, but the triggers are lighter too, making them easier to press down, which is not a good thing in my view, it takes away from the feeling of pulling a trigger, and the controller seems somehow cheaper as a result.
