You can say comunism has its similarities with religion, but to say its a religious regime is dead wrong and incredibly false. Communism has always been agaisnt religion.

I'm saying that Communism (especially if there's a charismatic dictator involved) becames a religion itself (it's pretty much that way in North Korea). The fact that religions are forbidden is only because they go against the official ideology (Christians did that too when European states were theocracies).

Communism is a political ideology not a religion. Just because one man is in charge of erything and thinks himself better than everyone else deosnt make communism reeligion. Religion is about worhiping higher power - something superior and higher than a mortal man- a God. Comunism has its similarities with religion, buts its not THE RELIGION

Kim Jong Il, the Communist dicator in North Korea is viewed by his people as a higher being, and he is worshipped as a god. It's called the cult of personality (in this case taken to a great extreme). A religion is an ideology, that can sometimes affect politics, hence why in Communists country they'r e banned. No competing ideologies may survive.

I highly doubt they worhsiped him as a God. I mean, do you even know what a God means? Just the fact that Kim Jong breads air means hes not a higher being.

They do. Just watch documentaries regarding North Korea and stop making assumptions.
