What's good out there? What games are in your backlogs?

Ok, to clear things up, for ME backlog are games that I HAVE but haven't finished or played, taking that into account my backlog is:

Epic Mickey (not started)

Donkey Kong Country Returns (not started)

Trauma Team (not started)

NBA Jam (not finished)

Little's King Story (not finished)

Monster Hunter Tri (not finished)

Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles (not finished)

Arc Rise Fantasia (not started)

Kirby's Epic Yarn (not finished)

and one that is borrowed Mini Ninjas

I have 2 games pending to buy (conduit 2 next week and Sonic Colors when it reaches 20 dollars). Those should be more than enough to cover any kind of drought even if it last 6 or 7 more months. I just don't have enough free time I have a job and a wife, I cannot spend more time playing, and I can't understand when people complain because they don't have anything new to buy and/or play every week.

Thanks for that. RE Dark Side and Arc Rise Fantasia I will get (as well as conduit2, I'll skip the first)

In regards to the OP he (and others) is making the best of the situation and there is nothing wrong with that. Of course in an ideal world anyone would like game releases more frequently.

This hasn't happened so rather than moan and groan he is taking the positives from it and I totally agree with him.

At the PS2's peak I had a half-shelf of games I never ever got around to playing because games I wanted kept coming "every week" and I also kept picking up games I missed on the cheap. In the end the PS2 was given away with all the games because I knew I would never get the chance to play them.

Now with work and everything else I now find myself in the same situation with the PS3. The backlog has built up and the time to play them all is constantly shrinking.

So now I decide to catch up on some wii games, hopefully  the short and sweet ones that suit me more right now.

If the PS3 was to drought on games I would see it the same way as the OP did.

And I agree with you, flagstaad. It is difficult to squeeze in gaming when you work, have a wife and a social life.

I fooled myself into thinking I could do it all.
