Not really.
3DS BoM is about 40% of MSRP. iPhone comes in lower at 30% of MSRP, but the iPad runs around 50% of MSRP and seems to have a profit margin on par with the Mac and iPod lines.
Microsoft makes both of them look like chump amateurs, though. BoM for a copy of Windows 7 is probably 5% of the MSRP or less. Those profiteering price-gougers!
