For sure. It's not like there is anything uniquely "Holllywood".
"Hollywood" became big because America was big... not vice versa.
They became big back when "America was cool" and american stuff was cool.
Though, the international hollywood and the hollywood that's big in the US can be pretty different anyway.
Heck, while not hollywood, the Governator has been picked up internationally but not domestically.
