I've hit people over far less, so yes. It's not even about knowledge, it's about common sense. It's not like the squirrel was foaming at the mouth, baring it's fangs and lunging at him. The cop deserves to be punished, hopefully he at least gets desk duty for the next few months, maybe he could read a book or two in that time, I'm sure it'd be torture. Also, just in case, I edited my previous post. Previous post edit: It even mentions that Animal control actually came straight after the cop, they cleaned it and said it was fine and let it off back in the wild. If the squirrel had rabies, then they'd have to get rid of it. Had the cop been an intelligent man, then he would have trapped the squirrel that was being 'irrational' (didn't realise that walking up to someone was a sign of rabies) under a bucket, a hat or even a pot and could have just waited for Animal Control. Giving idiots big boy toys is just ridiculous. |
to be honest i was at work before and listened to the video with sound for the first time now, and in this given situation i would have maced the people behind me first so i could hear myself think again!
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
