Sorry, i may not be allowed to contradict, but how the hell????

Wii Sports and the whole Wii is and was always market as "family friendly". Just look at the spots for Wii Sports etc.

Man, i don't see the difference.

The family now has a activity (Wii Sports) that everybody, including grandma, little Charly, his little sister Kyli and her mom, enjoys. So the Wii was used to get the family together, or not?

If the Wii didn't exist they would play a board game instead, since it is the family doing a group activity.

Horse poop.

You think I play anything except for Mario  Golf with my father? You are mistaken. Having fun games to play  can and does spur families into playing together. Leave your platitudes at the door, they are stinking up the joint.

You could also responded by reversing his logic back at him, for example if PSN/XBL did not exist they would just use facebook instead. Since that is form social online communication.

That comparison doesn't even make sense since PS3/360 main point is gaming it isn't to be social, they just have the ability to do it unlike the 3DS.  I also give up on people so defensive on Nintendo they can't (or refuse to?) see the difference between people being social and a device being social.  If you cannot be social using the device only, it isn't.

Ya but even you can admit that

"3DS is a very anti-social device.  To me that is a major problem."

Is  false by this point in the argument.   The device is so social its evolved  from a tool to being socially-able.

Anyways it still promotes being social by going out and finding people Face to face to play games with.

Like I've sayed before. It's just not the kind of tool you want.. And thats fine

What you really are saying is.

"The 3DS has no  Online social tools, that to me is a major problem"
