Smash fans (aka tourney fags)  are not even at a level where players make some decent money playing in tourneys like MVC3 players.

Instead they spend most there time trying to make brawl play exactly like melee instead of just learning or leaving the game.  Or you could just Melee all you want.  Didn't stop Third strike arcade palyers for a decade.

As for smash on 3DS, LOL no.  3 hour battery life for smash?  Talk about lowering your standards.

Thing is, there's not much to learn in Brawl :P

Melee wasn't as much about learning things as other fighting games (due to it's more simple nature), however, in order to play at a "competitive" level you had to practice a lot of techniques that make you move faster, or move in different ways.

Now, I understand why the Brawl players want these techniques again, they make the game faster, and allow for more ways do decieve your opponent, however, I don't understand why they add the pointless technical difficulties for their SSBB (or whatever), lowering the technical barrier for games allows more pepole to get into the meat of the game, and allow for more interesting games.

Oh, and Brawl also has tripping (why?) and the hitstun is reduced so much that combos don't exist anymore.

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.
