360: Halo Reach - As someone who owns all the Nintendo consoles and handhelds excpt VB and 3DS, I've always related Halo with Metroid Prime. Metroid Prime is a better Solo experience, but overall the experiences are very similar. Your the last or only of your kind (Only living being with Chozo DNA, versus only living Human with Spartan level genetic modifications), fighting a powerful alien race (Space Pirates vs. Covanent), with a third, viral like enemy (Phazon vs. Flood). The only real difference between the two is Halo has gone the route of action and multiplayer focus, where Metroid Prime is more of an adventure title, with a longer story.

360: Alan Wake - In many ways, this game plays like Resident Evil 4. A survivor horror third person shooter, that focus's on staying in the light to survive. Hard to explain about this game, but the gameplay is a lot more traditional compared to most action games now.

360: Too Human - From the makers of Eternal Darkness, need I say more? It's not as good, but still fun to pick up.

PS3: LittleBigPlanet 2 - I'm not a big fan of this game, but a lot of my friends are. It's like a Mario game, but you can edit your own levels and really enjoy the game with a bunch of people. Simple Casual platformer with lots of replay value.

PS3: Demon Souls - Kind of an RPG version of Eternal Darkness.. It's eiree and different, and if you miss those good old SNES RPG's this is as close as you'll get modern gen.

PS3: Disgaea 3 - a Strategy Turn based RPG, like Fire Emblem. This is a rare genre to find games in, and although it's not as good as Fire Emblem, it's about twice as long. Kind of plays like Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, minus the micro managing outside the battlefield.

Multi-console: Resident Evil 5 - Not that different from Resident Evil 4, which was originally a Gamecube title. Also Resident Evil did see a lot of editions on the Gamecube.

Multi-console: Vanquish - This is just a fun, story focused game. It just strikes me as something a more casual gamer would enjoy. Fast paced action, but often times gameplay goes in slow motion, and the characters are corny, and extremely stereotypical, but funny.

Multi-console: Grand Theft Auto IV - No matter what console you own, this game is just fun to screw around with. Even just doing stupid things like doing big jumps, or killing youself by jumping off buildings onto stuff, or just throwing grenades out your car at people... It's just fun.

From my ecperience with Nintendo consoles, Nintendo fans appreciate a good quality game. So Mass Effect 2 and Uncharted 2 are games they should definatly consider. Nintendo fans also appreciate a game with lots of replay, so Gran Turismo 5 and Forza Motorsport 3 are also great titles to consider. Finally they appreciate corney, unusual, but fun and polished games. That is why I mentioned Vanquish and strongly reccomend it. Also Project Sylpheed is the closest thing to a Star Fox we will see this gen. It's almost the same level of quality as the N64 and Assult GCN Star Fox's, and only $5 so worth picking up.

Also if you're a fan of Just Dance, try out Dance Central.

If you had to get 1 game, make it Vanquish. It's not the best 360/PS3 game out there, but it's something I think a Nintendo fan would most likely appreciate. It's much better then MadWorld, another game by the same developer.
