Next Level Games and Monster Studios are of a more common sort, they aren't able to put out blockbusters, but they do solid work which is ideal for Nintendo's second tier IPs. It certainly wouldn't hurt, if Nintendo and its partners were able to release at least one game of every existing and still relevant IP on each of their systems. Right now, they lack the workforce to do just that. |
It's not that they lack the workforce, it's just that most of the "real" 2nd party devs that Nintendo has do absolutly nothing these days. Perfect examples are people like Noise and Paon. The workforce is there, Nintendo just needs to lead them.
