On that thought, there is no justifiable reason or need to change the hardware with the exception of perhaps an XL version for those that appreciate the larger screens because of eyesight and the larger unit itself for their hands (I personally liked the size of the original DS in my hands vs. the smaller ones of now), or just simply a few more color options alone or with a bundle.
