there wasn't really anything wrong with the DS lite but we still got a DSi, DSi XL.
Then there was the psp 1000, 2000, 3000, and pspGo.
Not to mention ipod/iphone/ipad's many revisions.
...honestly, "wrong" or not i just fully expect a hardward revision pretty much yearly. it's just how the market seems to be now-a-days.
