To be fair, Nintendo still hasn't released one system with true custome shaders(truly flexible programmable pipelines.) Even the stuff in 3DS is only for vertex shaders which would mostly be used for drawing frames, so I don't blame a lot of western PC centric devs hating on Nintendo systems in the recent years where tech has gone beyond that. I'm sure epic could easily make unreal 3 mobile work with the 3DS, they just don't feel like it without the flexible pipelines since it'd require more work tunning the stuff to convert to similar functions instead of plug and play. On the other side of the fence though, I give props to Capcom on MT Framework Mobile or MT Framework in general, at least they are not being cocky bitches about it.
