Some developers were just pissed that Nintendo didn't give them another platform to port onto to make more money.
The only company I would be comfortable in really calling Anti-Nintendo is Epic. They suck and their philosophy is basically the opposite of Nintendo's.
I'm sure Nintendo will make a move to cater a little more to 3RD parties next gen, like they did with 3DS.
