Is it possible that Nintendo is trying to hold off putting their big guns on the 3DS to get third party sales higher?  If this was their plan it seems to be backfiring.  Thrid party games don't seem to be lighting it up which is causing less then stellar sales for the system.   It's definately not a failure and will go on to sell plenty, but I already think it may be falling inot the classic Nintendo hardware stigma.  Once we get some AAA first party titles, sales will explode.

This is just a part of Nintendo trying to get more third party support...what could we expect? They could just release some big games and sales would explode like you say...their attempt is to get higer sales long term, another Wii situation is not what they want. People acting as if 3DS was a failure don't understand this system changes complitely the strategy from the past...the fact that it's being outsold by PSP means just that PSP is a great system for Japanese people, it's outselling all the other consoles even without games (many have been delayed) or with smaller ones...the only failure I see in this chart is the Wii, unable to live as a normal console. 3DS won't have this problem for sure...

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)
