ps3 takes complete control from MARCH onwards..........everybody would agree with that
What are you freakn' kidding me!? Sony will have a big boost in March 600k - 800k. That's it. It's too expensive. Mass market is not going to buy the PS3. Example, I can go out and buy a 46" Sony Bravia LCD for $3000 or so, arguable one of the best tv's on the market. 1080p, 6000 contrast, cable card slot, etc. OR I can go to Walmart and buy a 46" Polaroid crap TV for $900. 1080i, 2000 contrast, etc. Sony's is by far a more sophisticated and visually better TV. However, I garauntee you if you could look up thier sales numbers the Polaroid is outselling it 5:1. The mass market doesn't buy 'best' it buys 'reasonably good and cheapest rate'. That's what is happening here. DS and PSP, which is more powerfull, which can do better graphics and better screens and more media, etc. PSP. Which has sold the most. DS. Wii/360/PS3 is the same scenario. Wii is a really good video game machine at a much lower price point. It has the appeal of non-gamers and old schoolers. The trend is happening right now. worldwide averaging 1m in sales per month. 360 didn't do that. PS3 definately won't. Why? The masses don't care as much about what's the 'best' only whats 'reasonably good at cheapest rate'. Wii is the only mass market home console. 360 is close, when they drop the price in March or June it will be. PS3 won't be for a couple of years, when the manufacturing costs enable it to come down to the $300 range.
