the game is okay, but take out the RPG elements and it would quite honestly suck.

Far Cry 2?

Hated by pretty much everyone including myself. Exactly the game I was thinking of when I wrote my post.

Borderlands?

half RPG and alone not nearly as good as with friends.
I completed the game alone btw.
Now imagine it as a normal first person shooter without the countless weapons (of course the basic types would stay), always same leveled enemies and no way to level up. Probably the most boring game of all time.

wolfenstein?
