when was last time a sturdy pokemon was one you didn't already have?

i had caught said pokemon before i even knew they had sturdy, and besides when i'm planning on catching or going to a new area i put my strongest guy taht has False swipe as my starter and voila i have basically sturdy unless the bastard pokemon hurts itself or were in a sandstorm
