3DS has the wow factor for gamers and non gamers (even Nintendo haters)

Yeah, that's simply how 3D works no matter the system, it's about depth and the ability to judge distances naturally. 

It's like they describe the PS Eye vs Kinect, 1 lens means if a balloon is deflating the camera thinks it's going further away, same thing happens in 2D images if it gets smaller it can actually look like its just going further off, but when Kinect is looking with two lenses it can tell the balloon is in fact deflating and not going away, which happens when you pop in say Pilotwings and you see the other guy in a plane flying away

Well I'll give that it might work for some, but you and others give that it doesn't work for others, even those that can see 3D.
