Yeah 3D in games is about as much of a gimmick as HD Resolution (corrected)
And yes these people from my story are the gamers that really didn't give Wii the time of day, but the 3DS had such a great wow factor that it even impressed them.

The 3D effect is really important for the 3D mode in SSFIV and I think it can bring something to the industry. Also, AR isn't really a new idea but Nintendo is using it very well. I can't wait to see more AR games or street pass games.

Haha you didn't have to correct me on the 3D or Motion controls thing, I was being sarcastic as both are not gimmicks in the least and provide their own benefits for gaming, which I was trying to make a point about.
And yeah I know about the upcoming games, it's going to be insane, but I never saw that site.

Hmm, if I had known you were being sarcastic there, I wouldn't have replied as I did.
BTW, I do think this will sell well, but the true killer apps will always be games, and will be those you don't even need the 3D on to enjoy (after all, the really good 360 and PS3 games are still good on even old 13'' TVs).
