3DS like DS and Wii will live and die on the back of its software library, if Nintendo releases compelling software for the 3DS, it will be successful, if not, it will flop
If nintendo tries to cram 3D into every game, it probably won;t work, some games like NSMB, require no 3D, and would probably not benefit from it in any way, it might even harm such games, so there is a reason not to bother with 3D

Yeah, they don't need any fancy crap, just have the backgrounds look 3D. Otherwise make great levels.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
