Maybe because 3 RE games in less then a year would be overkill that could hurt the sales of the currently available ones. Fans of the series should buy Umbrella Chronicles because the game is ok, but it's a blast to revisit the old locations (especially the mansion) and fill the gaps in the story. BTW am I the only one that really liked the camera settings in the pre-4 games. The controls were pretty bad in these games, but I loved the tension that was caused by the static camera. I missed that in 4 (though everything else in that was amazing). |
There are elements of the old control style I liked, mainly that it made fighting slow and dumb zombies much more challenging (and in a way realistic) ... In general I'm glad they moved away from those controls because the heal turning was far too frustrating
