That is what I said too. It makes it accessible to all the scrubs and noobs at the cost making a good game for the people who actually know how to play. Who enjoy a game that is well made where it requires more than 2 neurons to go through. I have always found it laughable when someone labels a game with regenrative health as "hardcore."

The thing is most people prefer regenitive health (and I mean the vast majority) so why would a developer make a game with something that would annoy many many users to make it more fun for the 10 guys that want it?

Because it is a better game. The Hurt Locker is a much better movie than Twilight, and Twilight made tons more money. That doesn't mean that Twilight wasn't worth less than a bucket of shit.
