I dunno I was worried that I would suffer negative side effects. However I did not, but a thread I created asked VGChartz members if the 3DS gave negative side effects. 1/3rd of those who posted said they suffered from some sort of negative side effect. That is pretty high, however I don't suffer from any side effects so I don't really mind hearing about them.
But this is bad for Nintendo, if these 7-million readers get turned off trying 3DS that is a huge loss of potential sales. If the thread I created is correct then an awful large amount of gamers will not be able to play games in 3D without negative side effects.
In the end Sony and Microsoft fanboys and as CNN proved Apple fanboys are all going to get on the bash Nintendo band wagon. It seems that since DS Nintendo never launches a game console without a gamble.
DS- do people want a second screen with touch features. Many people got upset about it, but Nintendo ended up lucky because the majority of consumers fell in love with the device.
Nintendo Wii - Is the market ready for 1:1 motion tracking controls. Nintendo took a major gamble knowing that the technology was new and unproven. However Nintendo won again.
Nintendo 3DS - Nintendo knew that some gamers would no doubt complain of negative side effects. I mean they tested the device for over a year. Yet Nintendo launched the device anyways gambling that people would buy it anyways.
Its always a gamble and in this case Sony and Microsoft will go on the offensive! Along with their fanbases and paranoid gamers!
