Anyway, read the review. I haven't played the game but from what I've heard, the review seems pretty spot-on. They've fixed much of what was broken, however while doing that, they've also broken some other stuff. Like not being able to play any story mode battle on any side at any time. I'd probably buy the game if it still had free mode. Conquest mode simply isn't enough for the to buy it, the battles are going to be much less interesting now.
Also, it appears that while they improved the story mode otherwise, they cut it too short for all four kingdoms - especially Wu. And personally I don't mind them re-using old maps because they've actually added lots of new ones, too - this way we can get much more battles in total, and especially many of the bigger battles seems to use all-new maps.
Fix the free mode thing and I'll buy it at some point. Don't fix it, and I'll wait until the next game where it's fixed.
