The time limit is 1:40 which is easily doable, if you never brake before preparing for the landing. Time shouldn't be a problem at all, I can finish the mission comfortably at around 1:30 which means you can really take your time for a smooth and perfect landing. What kills the time bonus in hang-glider missions is unnecessary use of the B button or ascending at a too steep level which slows you down and it's hard to get that speed back which ultimately costs you a lot of time over the course of the mission. But neither of these two things should be hard to avoid in the lighthouse mission, because you don't have to move the analog pad a whole lot. Most of the time you should be spending gliding with only slight movements, I guess you are just using the controls too rough at the moment. Way too rough, considering your time bonus is split in half. Or are you flying circles around the lighthouse instead of just taking two or three pictures while you approach it naturally? Only the best picture counts towards your score anyway. |
I've only been taking one picture and getting near-perfect scores every time (usually a 28/30).
From what you've said, i think my problem is how i deal with the thermals, because i do notice that i lose a helluva lot of speed from that.
