It's not that we think all homebrew is bad and leads to piracy, it's just that most (not all) people that say they do something only for homebrew are talking out their ass.

So everyone should turn threads like this into arguments because they assume that most people who say do it for homebrew could be lying?
Sounds about right because that is usually what I experience here whenever I speak about homebrew and claim that I use it on my Wii, DS and PSP.
It is possible to have alternate discussions on the subject too you know instead of people quickly just grabbing their pitchforks and torches and going after the topic creators or the topic of discussion. You do also realize that most (not all) people who attack homebrew are completely ignorant about the thing they are trying to attack?
The Android phone OS easily shows why the homebrew scene is so great. Many of those people do not support it for piracy, because quite frankly it is not required seeing as how Android gives the option of "Install non-market apps". Check the new Amazon app store to see what I mean, "Install non-market apps" is required to install what you purchase from there.
Some phones, like my Captivate for example, are known to have some pretty shitty support from the hardware manufacturer and the scene is what makes the phone actually quite great.
@Kyliedog
That means what? Do you know that most movie torrents are .avi files?
I guess SONY should pull support for those file types too huh?

Meh, I'm just responding to the thread title. I actually care very little of what DamnYouAll has to say and generally make it a point to skip over his posts. I probably would not have clicked the thread if I had noticed it was made by him.
I actually completely agree that great things can come from the homebrew community, Hell, just look at the Kinect, but when it comes to people saying they only modded their console for the homebrew, chances are they're lying through their teeth.
And if anything, you're at least one of the few people who I think are honest about what they do with homebrew.

Thanks.
I also agree with you about the community and the Kinect. There are some awesome things being done with it by the community and I am happy that Microsoft supports it as much as they do.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
