The 3DS is so much closer to your face than a cinema screen. For most people that type of depth would even hurt the eyes and give headaches. Holographic screens will take a few decades to reach handheld products. Screen resolutions would need to be upwards of 100 trillion pixels plus the fringe pattern would need to be calculated in real time. Other types of screens don't have the issue of focus and are way closer to the market. |
What type of screen apart from holographic doesn't have the issue of focus?
