PS3MFW allows you to turn Demo PS3 consoles into regular PS3s. You know, those consoles that are used in stores to demonstrate PS3. If you happen to buy one, PS3MFW makes it usable.

Why would you buy one?

They sometimes pop up for sale cheaply, used of course. I certainly wouldn't buy a used demo-unit that has been running for thousands of hours in some store, but whatever. Anyway, how about admitting you jumped the gun with your first reply?

I thought that went without saying but whatever, I should also point out there are better ways to point out someone made a mistake than saying "reading is an overrated skill." IMO, that's unnecessary, making personal attacks doesn't make your arguements stronger, just makes you look out of source.
