True but that doesn't mean whe shouldn't respect people's opinions. I agree with some people that this lawsuit is getting ridiculous, and there is no proof yet that the guy has done anything wrong... But i still think he's a douche for the way he acts IMHO. And to be fair sony is also acting like a child :P

I have no issues with people hating the guy because he's an ass, that's their perogative. It's the mindless hating and blaming him for the woes of PS3 piracy, when in actual fact there are many more guilty parties who have actually done wrong to blame imo. Sony are chasing the wrong guys...

I agree with you on that, id say they are chasing the wrong guys, but id also say that geo hotz has more publicity than any of the others, maybe they are just setting an example, after all the damage is done i think they are trying to put off anyone else trying

Very true, if they lose on the other hand which is still conceivable then this is going to set some big precidents that Sony really don't want out there. I think the case is interesting because what Hotz did in my opinion was perfectly legal if not morally right looking at the consequences. I guess the judge ultimately will decide that though.
