360 dropped price when PS3 slim was announced in late 2009

Didn't Xbox basically get a price drop when Kinect was released?

The price didn't change but the models were upgraded. So they went from a 120gb Xbox 360 Elite for $299 to a 250gb Xbox 360 S for $299, same goes for the Arcade model.
