I am a great fan of the First Person perspective. Deus Ex is one of those games that really brings you into the world, it's a special feeling. I played Thief before MGS4 (the only one I played of the MG games), and the stealth of MGS seams calculated, mechanic, detached while the stealth in Thief is more of an impression, organic, personal. It was the same in Deus Ex, although the stealth mechanics is not at the level of Theif. I am not impressed with the mix of First Person and Third Person they are trying and the way it works, the tranzitions come across as delayed, artificial, disruptive.

Also, is there no way to not kill (in an exagerated fasion), but to disable a guard in hand to hand (well, hand to back :P )?

Here's hoping that on normal difficulty settings the routes are not highlighted and that the disruptive transitions to/from third person perspective can be disabled or that in the final build they are perfectly smooth.

I will get on the hype train, but I will not man it.

You can choose whether you want to kill an opponent or use a non-lethal takedown when you sneak up on them. Depending on which you choose, a short cut-scene type of sequence will play out.

Also, I really hope they haven't completely done away with the lighting based stealth mechanic. I like the cover system but I loved hiding in the shadows.
