I suppose that may still happen but what is now obvious from Crysis 2 is that up to now the 360 can match the PS3. Gears 3 and Kingdoms will push the envelope that bit furtther I feel.

Gears 3 is the Unreal Engine 3.5 after all (like Gears 2).
Kingdoms will be amazing with CryEngine 3 optmized just for 360.
