Now if The Last Guardian, a new Quantic Dream title (though unlikely), and a new God of War come out in 2012, that will make the year a bit more interesting. But in talking PS3's strongest points in software, 2011 will be it and it's downhill from there.


why the ps4 wont be out for a long time

Nobody has any idea when it will be out, but it isn't a far fetched guess that Sony may start to shift focus a bit.

i doubt it they have stated their just starting to make a good profit right.

That doesn't necessarily mean they aren't beginning to think about what's next. Having it out around 2013 seems like a safe bet (though I wouldn't be surprised with a 2014 release).

im thinking 2014-2015 and if so i still see good support for the ps3 up until and maybe past the ps4's launch
