Why all the crysis 2 hype?

I don't mean to butt in, but that same argument could be said of strong 360 supporters who seem to suddenly care so much for this game to top PS3 exclusive titles.

Everyone should wait till release day, the bickering back and fourth is useless (and because of past blunders like the Alan Wake fiasco and Mass Effect 2), people should be more reserved before being "sure" of what's going to look the best on consoles.

My piece - it looks impressive enough from where I'm sitting. No, it doesn't impress me as much as some top tier 360 & PS3 exclusives, but what's been shown is no doubt, top notch. Definitely the best looking multiformat title I've seen. Really, that's all it needs.

Bold: indeed. I admit, I agree. But do you realize that you're one of very few PS3 fans who even admit Crysis looks impressive? Most Sony fans are "meh", and that's just sad to see.

But CGI, you don't have to be afraid of saying that Crysis 2 looks better than any X360 exclusive.

KZ2&3 and Uncharted 2 is debatable, I'll happily give that, but Crysis 2 graphics definitely slays Gears 2.
