Just looked at the view from top of the tower and bottom of the level (slime junction).
It's visible -- there's no mistaking that there's a two-way path bisecting the skylight -- but it doesn't, ah, destroy the view, IMO at least, but you're the guy who built it, so take a look and let me know what you think.
